Kristian Espiritu is one part California girl and one part New Yorker, which makes her a smiling hard worker. Born in Queens, raised in Los Angeles, and having toured and studied in many cities across the country, Kristian is happy to make her home in Brooklyn, New York where she fumbles on her ukulele and loves to tell bad dad jokes.
In constant pursuit of expressing oneself and changing the world, Kristian is the head-banging front-woman of the New York-based alternative rock band Over The Pass, for whom she writes original music with guitarist Brian Tsao. She is also a background vocalist for Brooklyn-based artist, The Landing, which has led to performances at notable venues such as Webster Hall, Brooklyn Bowl, and The Bowery Electric. Kristian is a regular singer in LezCab, a not-for-profit theater company for queer women in musical theater, and has performed at Joe's Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, and the Duplex.
Kristian is co-creator/producer/performer of the all women's cabaret, In The Boys' Club, and is currently planning future show dates of the project. Selected theater credits include rockin' out as Interviewer/Soloist/Ensemble in Here Lies Love, her true reflection Mulan on Disney Cruise Line, scrappy Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, and the hopelessly perfect lady-in-waiting Margaret in Scorched.
